| 背面描述 | Draped bust of Sarapis facing right, the deity depicted wearing the characteristic modius (kalathos) atop his head, a hallmark of this Egyptian deity as represented on Alexandrian coinage. The bust is rendered in low relief in the provincial style. To the right of the bust appear the regnal year date symbols L Γ, indicating the third year of Vespasian's reign. The overall fabric is typical of hammered Alexandrian bronze issues of the early Flavian period. |
