Obverse description Laureate head of Vespasian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style with characteristic thick neck and short beard. The emperor's portrait is set within a circular field with the Greek imperial titulature legend distributed around the periphery. The die-cutting reflects the workmanship typical of Herodian-era civic bronzes struck under Roman authority in Judaea.
