| Obverse description | Youthful laureate head of the Demos facing right, rendered in the naturalistic Hellenistic tradition typical of Lydian civic coinage. The portrait displays idealized features befitting a personification of the civic body, with the laurel wreath encircling the head as an emblem of honor. The encircling legend identifying the Demos of Blaundus runs around the periphery of the flan. The die work reflects provincial engraving of the mid-third century AD. |

| Reverse description | Tyche standing left in full figure, clad in chiton and himation, holding a rudder in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left arm, emblematic of fortune, guidance, and civic prosperity. The figure is rendered in the conventional provincial style associated with Lydian civic bronzes of the Severan and post-Severan periods. The surrounding field carries the magistrate inscription naming the strategos Aurelius Papias, son of Hermo—, along with the ethnic of the Blaundians. The composition is well-centered on the irregular flan, consistent with hammered provincial production. |
