Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the Provincial style characteristic of the Lydian conventus. The portrait displays the emperor's characteristic close-cropped hair beneath a laurel wreath, with strong facial features and a slightly draped shoulder visible at the bust truncation. The abbreviated Greek legend ΑΥ ΝΕΡ ΤΡΑΙΑ runs in the field to the right of the effigy, acknowledging the emperor's full titulature as Imperator Nerva Traianus.
