Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Severus Alexander facing right, the radiate crown rendered with clearly defined rays. The effigy displays typical provincial portrait conventions of the Severan period. The surrounding legend in Greek characters runs along the border of the flan. The coin exhibits green and brown patination consistent with prolonged burial, with the portrait details partially obscured by encrustation.
