| Reverse description | The goddess Isis Pharia is depicted advancing to the right, wearing a lotus blossom atop her head and holding a billowing sail in her outstretched hands, a motif closely associated with the maritime cult of Isis as protectress of sailors. Her robes are rendered in flowing drapery typical of provincial bronze coinage of the Severan era. The ethnic legend ΝΙΚΑΙΕΩΝ appears in the field, identifying the issuing city of Nicaea in Bithynia.
