Reverse description Tyche of the city seated left upon a rocky outcrop, her figure draped, holding what appears to be a Nike or similar figure in her extended right hand. A lighted altar is depicted at her feet, referencing the civic and religious identity of Carrhae. In the exergue, a river god swims left, personifying the local waterway and a common motif on Mesopotamian provincial coinage. The composition reflects standard iconographic conventions for colonial and metropolitan civic issues of the Severan period.
