| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, with short curly hair rendered in fine striated detail typical of Severan provincial portraiture. The paludamentum is visible at the left shoulder, and the cuirass is articulated with incised decorative detail. A beaded border encircles the field. The Greek legend runs around the periphery identifying the subject as Lucius Septimius Geta Caesar. |

| Reverse description | The river god Maiandros (Maeander) personified as a reclining male figure turned to the left, holding a long reed in his right hand and a cornucopia in his left, with his left arm resting upon an overturned water urn from which water flows — the conventional iconographic attribute of river deities in Greek provincial coinage. The figure reclines in a relaxed pose characteristic of Hellenistic and Roman river-god representations. The Greek legend surrounding the type identifies both the civic issuing authority and the deity depicted. |
