Beschrijving voorzijde Bare-headed, draped, and cuirassed youthful bust of Caracalla facing right, viewed from the rear, with laureate portrait rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Coele-Syrian civic coinage. The obverse legend surrounds the bust in Greek characters, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The portrait conveys the idealized juvenile features of the young Caesar, consistent with his depiction during the Severan co-regency period.

Opschrift voorzijde ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙϹ Μ ΑΥΡ ΑΝΤωΝΕΙΝΟϹ
(Translation: Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Antoninus)
Beschrijving keerzijde Heracles advancing to the right, depicted nude and in vigorous combat with the Nemean lion, grasping the beast in a wrestling hold in reference to the First Labour of Heracles. The hero's club appears to the right of the composition, a standard attribute identifying the subject. The date, rendered in the Seleucid era numeral ΕΞϹ (265, corresponding to 201/202 CE), is inscribed in the exergue. The reverse legend is disposed around the field in Greek, identifying the issuing civic authority. The composition is typical of provincial bronze coinage from the Decapolis and neighbouring Arabian cities under Severan rule.
