Obverse description Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, viewed from the front, the paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of the Conventus of Apamea, with somewhat summary but recognizable portraiture. The Greek legend is disposed around the periphery of the field, identifying the subject as Publius Septimius Geta in his capacity as Caesar.
