Obverse description Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, viewed from the front, the paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of the Conventus of Apamea, with somewhat summary but recognizable portraiture. The Greek legend is disposed around the periphery of the field, identifying the subject as Publius Septimius Geta in his capacity as Caesar.

Reverse description Asclepius, the god of medicine, depicted standing facing with head turned to the left, clothed in a himation draped over the lower body and left shoulder. He grasps a serpent-entwined staff (the caduceus of Asclepius) with his right hand, the coiling serpent being the principal attribute of the deity. The composition is set within a plain field, with the ethnic legend of the issuing city disposed around the periphery.
