Reverse description Zeus enthroned to the left, depicted in a majestic seated pose with his weight resting on a high-backed throne. In his extended right hand he holds a patera, and in his left hand a long sceptre rising vertically beside him. The composition follows the standard Olympian Zeus type widely used on Phrygian civic bronzes. The ethnic legend ΑΚΜΟΝΕΩΝ, identifying the issuing city of Acmonea, is distributed in the field around the figure.
