Additional information

The misspelling ΕΥΡΟΜΕΩΝ — dropping the expected ΕΥΡΩΜΕΩΝ — appears consistently across the RPC I 2808 type and is not a die engraver's one-off lapse. Euromus was a minor Carian city whose civic coinage under the Julio-Claudians was produced in small volume, and the error was simply never corrected between issues. Whether the local magistrate responsible noticed is another question entirely.
