Obverse description Laureate head of Nero facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with characteristically broad facial features and a wreath of laurel leaves. The emperor's bust is bare-shouldered, presented in right-facing profile. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor with his full titulature, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The surface carries a rich green patina consistent with extended burial, and the flan edges are notably irregular.
