| Reverse description | A tall, lighted torch depicted upright at centre, with a flaming crown at the top and a slender, ribbed shaft tapering to a pointed base, set against a plain field. The civic legend of the city of Tium in Bithynia is distributed around the periphery of the reverse in Greek characters. The design is typical of the municipal bronze coinage of Bithynian cities under the Severan and post-Severan emperors. |
