Reverse description Eirene, the personification of Peace, depicted standing facing with head turned to the right, rendered in flowing robes with drapery falling in vertical folds characteristic of provincial Greek die-cutting. In her left arm she cradles the infant Pluto, and in her right hand she holds a long sceptre. The figure occupies the full height of the reverse field, with the encircling ethnic legend distributed around the periphery. The style is consistent with the civic bronze coinage produced at Amastris during the Severan and immediately post-Severan period.
