附加信息	Corinth's provincial bronze issues under Marcus Aurelius were struck under the authority of the Roman colony — Colonia Laus Iulia Corinthiensis, hence the C L I COR abbreviation — refounded by Julius Caesar in 44 BC on the site of the city the Romans had razed in 146 BC. The colonial status mattered: it entitled Corinth to mint in a way most Greek cities under Roman rule could not do unilaterally.
