The mint was active only sporadically, and issues bearing the ΒΑΡΓΑϹΗΝΩΝ ethnic are scarce in any condition. Association with the Alabanda conventus placed it within a Roman administrative district centered on a far more prominent city, a bureaucratic assignment that likely had little bearing on day-to-day civic life in Bargasa itself.
