Obverse description Bare laureate head of Lucius Verus facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Phrygian civic bronzes. The portrait displays the emperor's characteristic features with a laurel wreath encircling the head. A Greek imperial legend surrounds the effigy in the field, reading ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ Λ ΑΥΡΗΛ ΟΥΗΡΟϹ ΑΡΜ, identifying the co-emperor Lucius Verus with his Armenian title. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show heavy wear consistent with circulation use.
