Obverse description Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and swept back in the characteristic Antonine style. The portrait is rendered in moderate relief with fine detail to the facial features and drapery folds at the shoulder. The Greek legend ΦΑΥϹΤΙΝΑ ΑΥΓ ϹΕΒΑϹ encircles the effigy, partially visible around the periphery within a dotted border.

Reverse description Athena standing facing right, helmeted and clad in long chiton and aegis, holding a spear in her left hand and extending a small Nike figure in her outstretched right hand. A round shield rests at her side near her feet. The figure is rendered in the classical style typical of civic bronzes of the Troas region, set within a dotted circular border. The ethnic legend ΙΛΙΕΩΝ is distributed in the field around the central type.
