Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, depicted from the rear, as was characteristic of certain Alexandrian provincial issues. The imperial effigy is rendered in the typical Hadrianic style, with the laureate wreath clearly articulated. The encircling Greek legend occupies the field around the bust, divided on either side.
