附加信息	Hadrian visited Corinth during his grand tour of the Greek provinces in 124 AD and again around 128–129 AD, and the city responded with a wave of civic bronze issues flattering the emperor's well-documented philhellenism. The colonial title COL L IVL COR — Colonia Laus Iulia Corinthiensis — traces back to Julius Caesar's refounding of the city in 44 BC, on the site deliberately left depopulated by Mummius since 146 BC. Hadrian's visit effectively renewed that Roman civic identity while simultaneously courting Greek cultural prestige.
