She extends her right hand forward, holding a patera over a lighted altar at her side, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia, symbol of abundance. The Greek ethnic legend of the city of Odessos is distributed around the field, identifying this as a civic issue of the Moesian mint. The composition follows the standard iconographic canon for Homonoia types on Moesian provincial bronzes of the Gordian III period. |
