Obverse description Draped and diademed bust of Empress Salonina facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and bound with a diadem, wearing a stephane. The portrait displays the refined provincial style characteristic of Lydian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. The Greek legend surrounds the effigy in the field.

Reverse description A tetrastyle temple with four columns and an arcuated (arched) lintel, rendered in frontal elevation; within the intercolumniation stands a cult statue of Aphrodite.
