Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Salonina facing right, diademed, set upon a crescent. The effigy displays characteristic third-century provincial portraiture with visible drapery folds at the shoulder. The obverse legend ΙΟΥ ΚΟΡ ϹΑΛΩΝΙΝ is partially visible around the bust in Greek script, identifying the empress as Julia Cornelia Salonina, consort of Gallienus.
