| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, depicted from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and segmented cuirass finely rendered. The imperial effigy is set within a dotted border, with the Greek legend disposed around the periphery of the field. The portraiture follows the conventional provincial style of the Severan period, with detailed hair and laurel wreath treatment characteristic of Lydian civic coinage. |
