Obverse description Draped bust of Julia Soaemias facing right, wearing a diadem, her hair elaborately arranged in the Roman imperial fashion of the Severan period. The effigy is rendered in the standard provincial style, with visible drapery folds over the shoulder. A Greek legend encircles the bust in the field. The flan is irregular and the strike moderately centred, typical of provincial bronze coinage from this mint.
