Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with broad facial features and a laurel wreath clearly visible around the hair. The legend surrounds the bust in Greek characters, reading ΑΥΤΟΚ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟΣ ΣΕΒ, proclaiming his imperial titulature as Emperor Caesar Domitian Augustus. The flan is irregular and slightly worn, consistent with circulation use in Roman Egypt.
