Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The effigy displays the emperor's characteristic features with a laurel wreath crown. A Greek legend surrounds the portrait, reading ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟΣ ΣΕΒ ΓΕΡΜ (Emperor Caesar Domitian Augustus Germanicus), running along the coin's periphery. The flan exhibits the irregular, somewhat rough fabric typical of Alexandrian bronze issues of the Flavian period.
