Reverse description Two deities depicted in the field: to the left, Diana (Artemis) stands facing right, equipped with a quiver at her shoulder, her right hand resting on her hip, and holding a bow (partially preserved) over an altar; to the right, the cult statue of Venus (Aphrodite) of Acrocorinthus stands facing left, holding the shield of Mars (Ares) before her as a mirror. The composition reflects the religious significance of the Corinthian colonial coinage, evoking the major cult sites associated with the city. The legend appears in the exergue and field.
