Reverse description Tyche stands facing, with head turned to the left, rendered in full figure in the round. In her right hand she holds a ship's rudder, symbolising fortune and navigation, while her left arm supports a cornucopia overflowing with fruits and abundance. The composition is typical of civic reverse types for cities of the Carian conventus, emphasising the prosperity and good fortune of Heraclea Salbace. The ethnic legend of the issuing city is inscribed around the reverse field.
