| Beschrijving keerzijde | An eagle stands facing with wings spread, its head turned to the left, holding a wreath in its beak — a distinctive and emblematic type of the colonial coinage of Alexandria Troas. The bird grasps a bucranium (ox skull) in its talons, a motif closely associated with the cult of Apollo Smintheus, the patron deity of the colony. The reverse legend COL AVG TROA, arranged around the field, identifies the issuing authority as Colonia Augusta Troas.
