Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, depicted with cuirass or drapery over the left shoulder, as typical of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The portrait shows the characteristic features associated with Caracalla's later reign, rendered in the local Egyptian die-cutting style. The surrounding field is heavily patinated and the flan irregular, with the legend largely illegible due to wear and corrosion.
