Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Pergamene conventus. The emperor's effigy is portrayed with characteristic beard and laurel wreath, the drapery visible at the truncation of the shoulder. A stag stands to the right at her feet, also facing right, serving as her sacred attribute and companion. The civic and magistrate legend is distributed around the figure in the field, identifying the issuing city and the eponymous strategos responsible for the issue.
