| 背面描述 | Apollo standing facing, with head turned to the left, depicted in the classical divine type favoured on civic bronzes of the Pergamene conventus. In his extended right hand he holds a laurel branch, while his left arm rests upon a lyre propped against a column at his side. The encircling reverse legend, divided around the field, records the name of the local magistrate responsible for the issue and identifies the civic authority of Poroselene. |

Poroselene was a small island polis in the Aegean, close enough to the Lesbian coast to fall administratively under the conventus of Pergamum rather than the nearer Smyrna district. The magistrate named in the inscription — Ail. Theophilianos — bears the Aurelius gentilicium, suggesting a family enfranchised under Hadrian or early in the reign of Antoninus Pius himself. Provincial bronze of this mint is genuinely scarce; Poroselene produced no large civic series, and most surviving specimens derive from a handful of known dies.
