Obverse description Bare laureate head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Achaean civic coinage. The portrait displays the characteristic middle-aged features of the emperor, with layered laurel wreath atop the head. A partially preserved Greek legend encircles the effigy, reading [ΑΥ]Τ ΑΝΤωΝΕΙΝΟ[Ϲ ΕΥϹΕΒΗ?], identifying the emperor by his imperial title and epithet Pius (Eusebês). The flan is irregularly struck with significant green patination across the field.
