The encircling Greek ethnic legend ϹΥΝΝΑΔΕΩΝ runs around the field, identifying the issuing city of Synnada in Phrygia. The type follows the standard Tyche reverse formula prevalent in Phrygian civic bronze coinage of the Antonine era. |
