Obverse description Bare head of the emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the portrait style typical of provincial Greek coinage of the Antonine period. The effigy displays the characteristic mature features of the emperor with short hair and no laurel wreath. A Greek imperial legend encircles the portrait in the field, reading ΑΥ ΚΑΙ ΤΙ ΑΙ ΑΔΡΙ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ, abbreviated from the emperor's full titulature.
