Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from the rear in the so-called 'heroic' three-quarter back view characteristic of later provincial issues. The Greek imperial legend encircles the bust, reading from upper left around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits a small central hole, likely pierced in antiquity for suspension, and the surfaces show heavy wear and green-brown patina consistent with prolonged circulation.
