| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trebonianus Gallus facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view. The radiate crown, military cuirass, and paludamentum are rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian civic coinage of the mid-third century. The encircling Greek legend identifies the emperor by his full imperial titulature. The surfaces show green patina consistent with ancient bronze, with the portrait details partially worn but the radiate crown remaining clearly discernible. |
