| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Herennius Etruscus as Caesar facing right, portrayed from behind in three-quarter rear view, with the radiate crown clearly distinguishing his rank. The surrounding field carries a Greek legend identifying the prince by his full titulature. The portrait is rendered in the provincial die-cutting style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. |
