| Reverse description | A tall, eight-branched date palm tree occupies the central field, its fronds spreading symmetrically and two hanging clusters of dates depicted at either side of the crown, a motif emblematic of the fertile Galilee region. The trunk of the palm divides the Greek civic legend into two vertical lines in the field. The design is rendered in the simplified, bold style typical of Roman provincial bronze coinage of Judaea and the Decapolis. The overall composition is well-centered within the irregular flan. |
