Obverse description Laureate head of Tiberius facing right, depicted in the provincial Roman style typical of North African civic coinage of the Julio-Claudian period. The portrait, though heavily worn, preserves the characteristic features of the emperor's effigy, with the laurel wreath rendered in low relief. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, reading TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AV IMP, identifying Tiberius as son of the deified Augustus and holder of the title Imperator. The flan is irregular and shows signs of corrosion consistent with extended burial. The overall style reflects the local mint's competent but provincial execution.
