Obverse description Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Severus Alexander facing right, rendered from a rear three-quarter perspective, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage. The obverse legend runs around the periphery in Greek characters, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
