| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Severus Alexander facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Mesopotamian civic coinage. The emperor's effigy occupies the central field, with the laurel wreath and drapery over the far shoulder clearly indicated. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait, naming the emperor in full titulature. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show heavy patination consistent with hammered provincial bronze. |

| Obverse lettering | ΑΥΤ Κ Μ Α Ϲ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟϹ Ϲ (Translation: Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Severus Alexander Augustus) |
| Reverse description | Tyche of the City seated left upon a rocky outcrop, holding corn ears in her extended hand, personifying the fortune and fertility of Carrhae. A lighted altar appears at her feet, and below the rocky seat a river god swims leftward, representing the local waterway and the city's geographic identity. The composition follows a well-established Mesopotamian civic type, with the city goddess and river deity forming a paired allegory of urban prosperity. The reverse legend encircles the design, identifying Carrhae as both a metropolis and a Roman colony. |
