| Obverse description | Laureate head of the emperor Severus Alexander facing right, rendered in the typical provincial style of the Troad region. The portrait displays the characteristic youthful features of the emperor, with the laurel wreath clearly indicated around the head. The legend encircles the bust in the field, reading IM SE ALEXANDER AV. The flan shows the irregular striking typical of provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period. |

| Reverse description | Standing female figure, identified tentatively as Tyche, facing left and wearing a turreted crown, holding a military standard in one hand and a small cult statuette of Apollo Smintheus in the other; the statuette depicts Apollo standing to the right, holding a bow and patera. The composition reflects the strong local cult veneration of Apollo Smintheus at Alexandria Troas. The colonial legend COL AL AVG TROA is disposed around the figure in the field. |
