| Obverse description | Draped bust of Julia Mamaea facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and adorned with a diadem, rendered in the provincial style typical of Mysian civic coinage of the Severan period. The effigy is shown from the shoulder upward with visible drapery folds across the chest. The encircling Greek legend reads ΙΟΥΛΙΑΝ ΜΑΜΑΙΑΝ, identifying the empress, distributed around the bust within a linear border. |
