Reverse description Tyche, the city-goddess of Petra, seated left upon rocky ground, her figure rendered in the conventional provincial style. She extends her right hand forward, apparently holding a small stele or similar cult object, while her left hand bears a trophy. The composition alludes to Petra's status as a metropolis and its Hadrianic civic identity. The Greek legend naming the metropolis is distributed around the type in the field.
