| Beschrijving keerzijde | Tetrastyle temple with four columns surmounted by a rounded, arched pediment, the architectural rendering typical of Milesian neocorate coinage. Within the intercolumniation stands the cult statue of Apollo Didymeus, depicted holding a stag and a bow, referencing the celebrated sanctuary of Apollo at Didyma near Miletus. The reverse legend encircling the design proudly proclaims the city's coveted neocorate status. The composition reflects Miletus's civic pride in its role as a centre of the imperial cult. |
