| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped bust of Philip II as Caesar facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Lydian conventus. The effigy displays youthful features with the bust truncation at the shoulder showing drapery folds. A Greek legend surrounds the portrait, arranged along the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits the characteristically irregular striking of civic bronze coinage from the Sardis conventus. |
